About

Joey Abna

As for the basic stuff I am happily married and the father of two daughters. I work full time in the automotive industry. My hobbies revolve around two key elements, sports and the internet. Baseball is my favorite sport. I collect sports cards and play fantasy sports online. Since I got involved in the blogging world it takes up most of my internet time.

My favorite sport is Baseball and it makes up the bulk of my sports card collection. I am building an entire run of the Topps All Star Rookies among a few other themes. My current favorite players are Roger Clemens, Brett Favre and Ivan (Pudge) Rodriguez. Some of my all time favorites are Carl Yastrzemski, Thurman Munson, Ron Guidry, Tony Gwynn, Cal Ripken Jr., Graig Nettles, Bob Lilly, Earl Campbell, Drew Pearson and John Elway just to name a few. My favorite baseball card set is the 1976 Topps issue.

This blogging thing has been great for my hobby experience. I have met many new people through my blog and the many others I keep up with. I have also improved my collection through trades with people through the conversations on the net. The last year plus has been great, I have written for Beckett, helped other collectors find cards they need and had the opportunity to add to countless conversations about the hobby.
