Slowly Returning to Life

For those of you that have checked up on me with emails and comments and those that have occasionally visited the site over the last few months, I am happy to let you know that I will be getting active again in the hobby. It has been too long since I let work requirements, economy, weddings, graduations and other items distract me from participating in the hobby that I love so much. You will notice a change in the blog theme which was long overdue.
I am still not happy with this theme but I haven’t really found something I like for this blog. Maybe later in the year I can actually hire someone to design a custom theme for me. Many designs have moved to a three column format for WordPress but I prefer something that doesn’t diminish the text area too much.
I did receive some cards for Christmas this year but I have not taken the time to open a single pack yet. I also purchased a blaster of 2010 Topps baseball but I keep forgetting to bring it home from work. Financially things are still tight around here so I won’t be buying cardboard with reckless abandon. I do have thousands of cards I need to organize and many that I would like to write about for you.
The Contact Form has been repaired so feel free to drop me a line. I really enjoy hearing from you. Well, except for those people that can guarantee me tons of search engine traffic by getting my blog to the top of the rankings. The New Release page will be going away soon, I kept forgetting about it and the information is available in many other places anyway. I have a couple of ideas on a new page or if you have some ideas you would like to see just let me know. I will also be cleaning up the Blogroll as the blogging landscape has changed quite a bit in my hiatus.
It is almost time for Spring Training so it is a good time to relight the fire for card collecting.

Hey Spiff, good to hear from ya. That Matlack picture you posted about was pretty neat.
